The traditional bed bath had a negative effect on patients' respiratory rate, increasing it. Brazilian Registry of Clinical Trials (ReBEC) RBR-5qwkqd.Objective to analyze the occurrence of leave of absence due to depression among workers. Method census, descriptive-analytical study, with retrospective collection. Population composed of 2,267 workers on leave due to depression with data from the Unified Benefits Information System. The independent variables were sex, age group, income; county, origin, number of leaves of absence and type of benefit. For data analysis, descriptive statistics were used and the chi-square and Fisher's exact tests were applied. The variables that presented a value of p≤0.20 were submitted to logistic regression. Results there was a predominance of females, age ≥50 years, from the capital, with income of one to two minimum wages, urban origin and single removal. Single leaves of absence occurred mainly due to a mild depressive episode and the benefit granted to the significant majority was social security sickness benefit. Among those who were on leave of absence more than once, the main cause was recurrent depressive disorder, a current mild episode and, in terms of benefit, social security sickness benefit. There was a statistical association between total time and absence from work. In logistic regression, it was found that the time ≥60 days, was 3.1 times longer in recurrent depressive disorder. Conclusion there were an expressive quantitative number of absences due to depression, in which it was observed, especially, that the absence time remained long. Objective to verify the relationship between the socio-demographic and work profile of the nursing professionals and the patient safety climate in a public emergency hospital. Method a cross-sectional study carried out with 177 nursing professionals from a public emergency hospital. For data collection, the Safety Attitudes Questionnaire - Short Form 2006 was used, validated and cross-culturally adapted to the Portuguese language. To check the factors related to the instrument's domains, bivariate and multivariate analyses were performed. Results working in the medical and surgical clinic or emergency room, on a night shift, and having the intention to leave nursing, reduced the general safety climate in the multiple regression analysis. The younger professionals, with less than four years in the institution, and those who worked in the night shift had a lower safety climate related to the perception of the management. On the other hand, having a work contract with a hired worker improved the general safety climate and workplace satisfaction. Conclusion identifying predictors on patient safety scores is an important management tool that allows diagnosing, planning and executing activities from the domains that need to be improved. Objective to know the relationship between the sensory function, gait ability, and cognitive function with dependency in older adults. Method a descriptive cross-sectional design, 146 older adults took part. Measurements Snellen chart, Audiometer, Stereognosia tests, Semmes-Weinstein monofilament, basic aromas and flavors, GAITRite system, Montreal Cognitive Assessment Test, the Barthel Index, and the Lawton and Brody Index. Results sensory function, cognitive function and gait explain 25% dependence on basic activities of daily life and 21% dependence on instrumental activities of daily life. The variables that influence dependence on basic activities were taste (p=.029), gait speed (p=.009), cadence (p=.002) and step length (p=.001) and, in instrumental activities, gait speed (p=.049), cadence (p=.028) and step length (p=.010). Conclusion gait speed, cadence and stride length are variables that influence both dependence on basic and instrumental activities of daily life. Objective to develop a Navigation Program for cancer patients, based on the model proposed by The GW Cancer Institute at George Washington University, adapted to the reality of a Brazilian High Complexity Center in Oncology. Method a convergent care research applied in the development of a patient navigation care process, based on the model proposed by George Washington University, adapted for a High Complexity Center in Oncology in Brazil. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/Beta-Sitosterol.html Phases of the Convergent Assistance Research conception, instrumentation, scrutiny, analysis and interpretation. These were correlated with the stages of the Program Development Cycle. Scale designed to categorize patients into navigation levels, validated by the Delphi Technique, with 12 specialists. Results in the diagnosis, patients with head and neck cancer were defined for inclusion in the Navigation Program. Planning and implementation took place simultaneously, allowing the basic formatting of the program and its processes to be designed. Navigation Needs Assessment Scale designed to select the patient to join the Program and determine the recommended support. The scale validation had a consensus index of 96.42%. Evaluation of the stages of the cycle occurred through the adapted Plan/Do/Check/Act cycle. Conclusion a Navigation Program was developed adapted to the Brazilian reality, and attributions of the navigators were created. Objective to analyze the technological production of three professional master programs in the area of Nursing. Method documentary research on primary sources. A total of 100 graduate nurses from three professional master's programs in Nursing in the Southeastern region of Brazil were analyzed, based on the following variables time of training, typology of products; context of products and technological and educational classification, welfare and management. The study was guided by the question "How is the technological production of the dissertation of the professional master's degree according to typology, context and technological classification? The analysis of the data was based on the construction of a table that categorized the products according to the typology. Results development of techniques was the main type of product found, being expressed by flowcharts, protocols, guidelines and training courses. The products were mostly developed in the hospital context, in the educational technology format. Conclusion the technological production of the analyzed programs is restricted, diffuse and, in its majority, of low social impact and has no relevance in the body of the dissertation.
